Rhubarb and Red Apple Puree

  • 1 cup of rhubarb stems
  • 2 red apples
  • 5 strawberries (for colour)
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Carefully cut the ends and remove the leaves from the rhubarb stems ( they are poisonous! )
Cut off the stems on the strawberries

Step 2

Add the rhubarb, strawberries and apple to the steamer. Steam until it takes on a mushy texture (for about 15 minutes)

Step 3

Stir in sugar and cinnamon.

Step 4

Blend until smooth
