Your guide to Champagne: How to serve, drink and cook with a bottle of bubbly

How should I chill Champagne?

Lukewarm Champagne just doesn't cut it, nor does an elegant flute of bubbly with chunky ice cubes! You should always serve your Champagne chilled, and traditionally without ice. You can chill the bottle in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving, or if your fridge is full, you can also use the ice bucket method.  Fill a metal ice bucket (metal is a good temperature conductor) with equal parts water and ice, then place your bottle into the bucket and allow to chill for 20-40 minutes.
