Planning a Fake Restaurant

Oobah vowed to create an entirely fake restaurant and see how far up the ratings list it could climb.

The shed in south London that he lives in then became the illustrious "The Shed At Dulwich", and he set to work on transforming it into a five-star experience. The first step to establishing its "legitimacy" was to list a phone number. That was an easy fix: he bought a burner phone for a mere £10.

And that was all it took to make the place official – well, that and a cheap website domain and a vague address that excluded any street numbers or details so that no one could determine exactly where the place was.
