Eat food you actually enjoy

A lot of people fail to stick to a diet because they're forced to eat food that they hate.

If you absolutely loathe broccoli, then don't go on an all-broccoli elimination diet! It will only make you miserable and set you up for failure. 

Simply replace unhealthy, processed foods with healthier, homemade meals and the weight will slowly, but surely, start to come off. 

And remember, it's not the end of the world if you occasionally indulge in a small piece of chocolate or cake!

Dive into summer with this fresh, light and healthy mango salad!

INGREDIENTS

  • Peanuts
  • Carrot
  • Mango
  • Rocket
  • 2 limes
  • Olive oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Red onion, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

METHOD

  1. Lightly sautée the peanuts until golden.
  2. Take the carrots and cut into thin slices.
  3. Peel the mango and slice into thin strips.
  4. Squeeze the juice from 2 limes into a bowl, and add olive oil, soy sauce, minced onion, salt and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, toss together the mango, carrot, rocket, and lime-soy dressing.
  6. Enjoy!
