  • 4 large potatoes, peeled
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Crisco
  • EGG WASH:
  • 1 beaten egg mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
