  • 4 1/2 inch thick pork chops
  • olive oil
  • flour
  • 1/2 c chicken broth
  • 8 oz white mushrooms
  • 2 heaping TBS sour cream
  • Parsley
  • Bourbon Barrel Foods' Worcestershire
  • Bourbon Smoked Salt
  • Bourbon Smoked Pepper
  • ground red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Season pork chops with Bourbon Smoked Salt and Pepper and sprinkle with flour. Heat 1 TBS of olive oil to medium him. Cook each pork chop (work in two batches) for 3-4 minutes. Add olive oil to the pan in between batches if needed.

Take the pork chops out and set aside on a plate. In the same pan, add mushrooms and another 1/2-1 TBS olive oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add in chicken broth, sour cream, Worcestershire, Bourbon Smoked Salt, Bourbon Smoked Pepper, ground hot pepper, and 1-2 TBS of flour.

Let the gravy simmer until it thickens. Add pork chops into the gravy. Let cook for 10 minutes. Add in parsley. Serve over rice or cornbread.
