Ingredients

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • Sour cream


method

  1. Boil and drain the potatoes
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the potatoes with parsley, minced garlic, cilantro,  shredded cheese and milk.
  3. Mash the mixture thoroughly. 
  4. Shape into palm-sized balls, then flatten on a sheet pan
  5. Put in oven for 20 min at 355° F
  6. Layer, spreading generously with sour cream
  7. Garnish, and enjoy!

Preheat the oven to what you wish

  • 1 tablespoon Sage or savory, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley, 3/4 cup celery, 1 large chopped onion or 1 cup of onion, cooked potatoes, 1-3 eggs, 3/4 cup melted butter, and bread.

  • 6 C. dry bread crumbs 1 egg (opt.slightly beaten)
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 C. chicken broth or water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 C. margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 C. chopped onion
  • 3/4 tsp. thyme 1-1/2 C. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 3/4 tsp. basil
