  • * 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • * 1 1/2 cups of diced white onions
  • * 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • * 1 1/2 cups of sour cream OR plain yogurt
  • * 3/4 cup of mayonnaise (OPTIONAL)
  • * 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • * 1/4 teaspoon of ground white pepper
  • * 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt

Step 1

In saucepan over MEDIUM heat add oil & onions & salt. Cook onions until caramelized, about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Step 3

Mix the rest of the ingredients and add the cooled onions.

Step 4

Refrigerate and stir again before serving.
