Reducing your water consumption is not only important for the planet, but it also cuts down on your electricity and water bills!

Surprisingly, a lot of water waste occurs in the kitchen. All it takes to fix this problem is a few simple tips and tricks, and before you know it you’ll be saving more water (and money!) than you ever thought you could!

Recycle cooking water

Believe it or not, the starch that can be found in pasta cooking water is a great way to get rid of grease. So try recycling this water by reusing it to do your dishes. You can even reuse it to make soup: simply cook green vegetables like asparagus in leftover pasta water, add a potato or two, some sour cream and blend!
