Sonja's Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 pounds lean or extra lean ground meat

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl mix first 5 ingredients well

Step 2

Add the meat to the above mixture and mix together

Step 3

Using an ice cream scoop, make large meatballs, continue until all the meat mixture is in balls

Step 4

Grease 2 large baking dishes and put 1/2 of the meatballs in to each one leaving a little space in between each one

Step 5

Bake Meatballs at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes,

Step 6

Remove pans from oven and turn the meatballs over, then return them to the oven for an additional 10 minutes

Step 7

Remove the pans from the oven and place some of the meatballs into heated spagehetti sauce and serve over noodles
