Step 1

Melt ingredients together in a saucepan. Remove from heat and pour into a buttered pan. Chill for 2 hours or until firm.

Chocolate Beetroot Cake

INGREDIENTS

  •  1.3 cups beetroot
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 4/5 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Melted dark chocolate

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. 
  2. Put the beetroot, eggs, oil and lemon juice in a food processor, and blend until smooth.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.
  4. Add the blended beetroot mixture, and mix until smooth. 
  5. Add the baking powder and mix until fully incorporated. 
  6. Pour the batter into silicone cake moulds. 
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until you a pick comes out clean. 
  8. Top with melted dark chocolate, and enjoy!

3 cups of chocolate chips (whatever your favourite brand)
dash of salt
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Melt in a saucepan. Once gooey spoon into 9x9 buttered cassarole dish or pan. Cover loosely with foil and chill in fridge for 2-3 hrs and then store at room temp.

Tip: Don't let the fudge sit in saucepan too long, once mixed and melted it will dry out quickly. This whole prep time should be less than 15 mins.

As an alternative to peanut butter you can use the same recipe but in a microwaveable safe bowl melt 2 cups of mini marshmellows with 2 tsp margerine or butter (only takes 30secs-1min in microwave to melt.) After you spoon melted chocolate chips mix into 9x9 dish pour melted marshmellows over top and swirl with a knife. Be creative, its fun!

is this a joke? The directions and the amounts? 3/4 what, can or cup of what kind of milk and how much water? I am an excellent cook, but trying this recipe is a def, no until it is corrected. Also, who does the proof reading before it gets on here? Just askin'!

I agree, more details please! What kind of canned milk: sweetened condensed or evaporated? How much water approximately? What size pan 8x8? 9x9? 9x13?
