VIDEO: Delicious Stuffed Cabbages
These tasty stuffed cabbage rolls are so easy!
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 5 - 6 thick rashers bacon
- 1/2 lb sausage meat
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 2 bell peppers, diced
- Salt
- 1 cabbage head
Method
- Fry the bacon in a skillet, then add onion, and meat.
- Add tomato paste, bell peppers, garlic and salt, and simmer till cooked through
- Boil 1 whole cabbage head in salted water till tender
- Spoon mixture into individual cabbage leaves, and fold carefully to form little rolls
- Serve with any remaining mixture
- Enjoy!

- 1 cup bisquick pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cup soymilk
- 1 onion, diced
- 7 mushrooms, diced
- 6 green onions, sliced
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil plus more for cooking
- 1/2 cup soy sauce

The school I worked at in Korea made a salad similar to this
- 1 pkg frozen sweet corn, thawed
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 banana pepper, chopped
- 2 hot house tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- DRESSING
- 1/4 cup Nayonnaise
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar or more to taste

- 1 pkg veggie ground
- 1/3 cup bok choy, shredded

Rinse potatoes to remove starch
- 2 -3 Potatoes (peeled and diced)

I cannot take credit for these short ribs, though I did help
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Mirin (sweet Japanese rice wine)
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/8 cup oriental sesame oil
- 10 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 large green onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp. ginger, minced
- 5 lbs beef short ribs (Approx. 2"-3" cuts)
- Sauce:
- 1 1/2 cups reserved crock pot cooking juice (fat removed, then strained)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/8 cup Hoisin sauce
- 1/8 cup brown sugar

Stir together soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, shallots, garlic, ginger, and 2 tbsp
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. Asian sesame oil
- ½ cup minced shallots
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. minced peeled fresh ginger
- 3 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 lb. flank steak, cot across the grain into very thin slices
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
Cheater Korean Beef

Heat a large skillet over medium heat
- 1 pound beef, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (add more if you like it sweeter)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (see note)
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (depending on how spicy you like it)
- salt and pepper
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 1 bag ready to eat broccoli
