Simple Potato Soup with Bacon

Ingredients

  • Cook bacon
  • drain on paper towel
  • sauté onions and celery add broth and potatoes
  • bring to boil then reduce heat
  • simmer covered for 10 to 15 mins
  • stir in cheese
  • keep heated till cheese melts
  • after cheese melts remove from heat and add bacon

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cups onions
1 stalk celery
4 cups chicken broth
4 cups potatoes
