Get into meal prep

The weekend is the perfect time to do a little meal prep for the week. Plus, cooking is more enjoyable because you're less rushed and can prepare whatever you like. Why not make some braised, slow-roasted or stewed dishes that you can freeze in individual portions and eat throughout the week? All you have to do is reheat them in the microwave, and voila! Lunch is served. This is an especially effective method come wintertime, when comforting recipes will be calling your name.
