In fact, there are two ways to remove arsenic from rice. 

 The first method is to soak the rice in water overnight in a 5:1 water-rice ratio. This cuts arsenic levels by a whopping 80%, but unfortunately requires a fair bit of organization and forward-planning.

 The second method is to cook the rice in a 6:1 water-rice ratio, draining the excess water once cooked. This cuts up to 60% of arsenic found in rice,  leaving it safe to eat... and heartily enjoy!

 And there you have it! Use these simple food-prep tricks, and your body will thank you.
