Beer: the new health drink?

So what's in a beer? Aside from its unmistakable taste and role as a social lubricant, beer can also have positive effects on sleep, the heart, the kidneys and even bones.

Among the many worldwide studies dealing with this field, a recent study by The American Society of Human Genetics found a correlation between moderate alcohol consumption (one or two drinks per day) and "healthy ageing", while another by Tufts University found that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol is associated with greater bone mineral density in men and women mostly over age 60.
