9 snacks you should eat before working out

Fruit

Fruit is a great pre-sport snack. Bananas are ideal because they're rich in proteins and highly energizing. Even though they contain a high amount of calories (about 90 calories per banana), the high levels of potassium are a great help when working out!

Apples, pears and citrus fruit are also good options, as are any other seasonal fruit. Just try to stay away from fruits with a high water content (like watermelon for example), so that you're not running to the bathroom in the middle of your Pilates class!
