A Hearty baked bean dish big enough to be a meal by themselves !

Heat oil in 3 qt saucepan

  • Soup Stock:
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 Clove Garlic (minced)
  • 2 10 3/4 oz cans condensed beef broth
  • 2 soup cans Water
  • 1/2 cup Red Wine
  • 3 T Tomato Paste
  • Meatballs:
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/4 cup Raw Rice
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 3/4 t crushed Dried Mint
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 1/4 t Pepper
  • 2 T Fresh Parsley for Garnish

This is a mix-up between the way my Gram made goulash and my mother-in-law makes goulash so I could make my husband

  • 2lb hamburger meat (I use 80% lean)
  • 2.5 cups small elbow macaroni
  • 2 8oz cans tomato juice

  • 26oz Beef stock
