Storing coffee beans

Ideally you only grind your coffee when you're ready to drink a cup. Otherwise, pre-ground coffee quickly loses its delicious smell and flavor.

But if you always by ground coffee, then the best thing you can do is store it at room temperature. It's a bad idea to store it in the fridge because the cold will block the delicious aromas, and your coffee might end up tasting the way your fridge smells! Yuck!

In any case, it's always better to buy less coffee more frequently, rather than the other way around.
