We all struggle with finding motivation to meet our weight loss goals, but Oprah has somehow managed to do it. What's her secret??

Throughout her many years of stardom, Oprah's weight fluctuations haven't gone by unnoticed. Her struggle with dropping pounds and keeping them off is one we all can relate to: it takes long-term motivation, and a lot of it.

Recently, though, she partnered up with Weight Watchers and dropped a dramatic 42 pounds!

In an interview with the NY Times, the 63-year-old media and TV mogul revealed just why her recent weight loss has been so successful and why it's different from before.

What fuels her now is her health.

"For your heart to pump, pump, pump, pump, it needs the least amount of weight possible to do that," she said.

"I can’t accept myself if I’m over 200 pounds, because it’s too much work on my heart. It causes high blood pressure for me. It puts me at risk for diabetes, because I have diabetes in my family."

She admitted trying juices and cleanses in the past, but that it "doesn’t work. It doesn’t last."

Now, instead of strict dieting or chasing after being skinny, Oprah says her mindset is completely focused on "mindful eating" and maintaining "a level of consciousness and awareness" about what she's consuming.

And you can see the effect this has had in more than just her size. She looks happier and more radiant than ever!
