Separating egg yolks from the whites without splitting the yolk is one of life's great challenges. Want to know a short cut? Take a clean, empty plastic bottle, and squeeze it slightly on the sides. Holding it just above the yolk, release the sides. As air returns to the bottle, it will suck up the yolk too! To release the yolk, just press the sides of the bottle again. Pure. Genius.
