Samosas

For beef samosas, first fry chopped onion in a buttered pan. Add ground beef, saffron, powdered ginger, turmeric, cinnamon and a little salt. Cook for 10 minutes. Cut sheets of brick pastry in half, then fold in half again with the rounded side toward the center. Add 1 tablespoon of filling on the edge and form the samosa. Seal the edges with beaten egg and bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F. Prepare the dip by mixing yogurt, chopped mint, chili powder and cumin.
