To make this festive French cake, prepare mascarpone cream with eggs, sugar and mascarpone. Soak ladyfingers in simple sugar syrup, and start building. Coat the bottom and sides of the baking mold with ladyfingers, then alternate layers of the mascarpone cream, fresh cherries and more ladyfingers. Store in the fridge for at least 8 hours before serving.
