Don't let them skip breakfast

To get their day off to a good start, your kids should always have a well-rounded breakfast. Whole-wheat toast and almond butter with sliced banana is a good option (or peanut butter, if they prefer the taste). Or make them a veggie scramble and serve with a piece of fruit. You can also prepare them a jar of overnight oats with cacao nibs, cinnamon, honey and fruit for a special treat. Whatever the choice, it's important that they don't skip this meal because  your kids will have a hard time focusing in class if they go on an empty stomach.
