Put a little Hawaiian punch into your cooking with this succulent tropical fruit! Here are 10 easy recipes that call for canned pineapple.

Pineapple fritters

Sweet fritters are popular the world over, and everyone has their fave: sugar-coated, jam-filled, fruit-based, etc. To make these toothsome treats at home start with a can of drained pineapple slices. Pour 2 cups flour in a large mixing bowl, and drop 2 beaten eggs into the center with 3 1/2 tablespoons melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup milk. Mix well. Dredge the pineapples in the batter and fry them up on both sides. Soak up excess oil by placing the fritters on paper towel-lined plates and sprinkle them with powdered sugar before serving.
