Father's day donuts
Who doesn't love donuts?! You can make these yourself with a refrigerated tube of buttermilk biscuit dough.
Just heat up 2 inches frying oil in a large pot to 360° F. Use a round cookie cutter to cut a hole in the center of the biscuits. Fry the biscuit "donuts" until golden brown, flipping halfway through. Remove with a slotted spoon to a plate lined with paper towels.
For the glaze, mix together 1 stick of melted unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon light corn syrup, 2 to 3 tablespoons milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 cups powdered sugar. Divide them in separate bowls, and add natural food colorings of your choice. Then toss on preferred sprinkled, crunchy or glazed toppings!
