Homemade naan in 10 easy steps


The dough

With a bread maker: Pour all of the ingredients into the bread maker, then select the 'basic' program, followed by 'dough.' After 2 1/2 hours, your dough is ready.


By hand: In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar. Make a well, add the oil, yeast, yogurt and half of the water. Knead by hand or using a food processor, while slowly adding water. The dough should be soft and shouldn't stick to the edges. When ready, place in a large glass bowl, cover with a dish towel and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
