Ribs

With this recipe, you no longer have to wait til next summer to get your fall-off-the-bone ribs fix.

Coat a 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Remove the inner layer of skin from 6 pounds baby back ribs. Rub the meat with a mixture of 3 tablespoons paprika, 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon black pepper and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Cut the ribs into 4-inch sections.

Place ribs in the slow cooker in alternating layers with 2 sliced large yellow onions. Pour in 1 cup water. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours until the meat is extremely soft and tender. Remove the ribs and set aside. Drain the liquid and onions from the slow cooker. Put the ribs back in, and pour in 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce, tossing to coat. Cover and cook on low for 1 hour more. Serve immediately.
