5 wine and cheese matches made in heaven

Comte and Yellow Wine

If you ask a French wine expert what their favorite wine and cheese pairing is, you’re likely to get this answer! Comte is a hard cheese that comes from the Jura region in France. It’s fruity, flavorful and similar to a more complex Swiss. It’s the perfect match for Yellow wine, a rare type of wine that hails from the same region. With undertones of dried fruits, walnuts and an intense aroma, it’s the perfect wine to serve with Comte cheese.

Bonus: Yellow wine is so full-bodied that it’s a great wine to serve during a meal, after a bottle of red. Although traditionally white is served before red, the exception is for white wines that are robust and highly complex, making them a great pairing with cheese.
