Cucumber-lime refresher

This concoction does the body good as soon as you get up. Benefit from its detoxifying effects by drinking a big glass 30 minutes before breakfast. For the recipe, wash 1 lime and cut it into round slices. Wash 1/2 cucumber, and slice it into thin rounds with the skin. Cut 1 cm of peeled ginger into small pieces. Pour all the ingredients into your water pitcher, add 10 fresh mint leaves and 1 liter of water. Let infuse overnight in the fridge.

INGREDIENTS

  • Peanuts
  • Carrot
  • Mango
  • Rocket
  • 2 limes
  • Olive oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Red onion, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

METHOD

  1. Lightly sautée the peanuts until golden.
  2. Take the carrots and cut into thin slices.
  3. Peel the mango and slice into thin strips.
  4. Squeeze the juice from 2 limes into a bowl, and add olive oil, soy sauce, minced onion, salt and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, toss together the mango, carrot, rocket, and lime-soy dressing.
  6. Enjoy!
