Dessert jars

In terms of dessert, bringing cake to a picnic can get complicated. You have to find a container adapted to the shape and worry about transporting it so it doesn't fall apart. But here's an original and practical idea: prepare individual dessert jars instead! Keep it simple by preparing a yogurt cake batter: 1 plain yogurt, 2 cups sugar, 3 cups flour, 3/4 cup cooking oil (butter is even better), a pinch of salt and baking powder. Pour the batter into oven-proof jars before baking.
